At the dental offices of Dr. Lopez we believe in honesty, integrity, communication, and education. It's these guiding principles that help us deliver quality services to our clients. This includes staying on top of the latest advances and technology in our field by regularly attending industry seminars and completing hundreds of hours of continuing education (CE) courses.

Dr. Stefanie Lopez

Dr. Lopez attended UCSB for her undergraduate education, and later graduated Cum Laude from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kapppa Upsilon National Dental honor society upon graduation.  While at UCLA she received numerous awards for her academic and clinical skills.  Dr. Lopez considers herself a lifelong learner and is always looking for opportunities to gain knowledge of new materials and techniques.  She has completed and continues to participate in hundreds of hours of continuing education.  Additionally, she is a graduate of the Foundation of Bioesthetic Dentistry, a member of the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is committed to the practice of microscopic dentistry.

In her free time she loves to travel - both for fun and on dental volunteer missions to countries such as Kenya, Bolivia and Mexico.  Additionally, she loves to read, hike, and walk on our beautiful Santa Barbara beaches.

  • Grace Lopez, Office Manager

    Grace was born and raised in Santa Barbara and has over 25 years experience in the dental field. She loves working with patients and brings a compassionate touch to all she does. Grace is happily married and has 4 children and 4 beautiful grandchildren.

  • Edith (Edi) Rodriguez, RDH

    Edi has 17 years of dental hygiene experience. She grew up in Ojai and attended dental hygiene school in Fresno. She is a life-long learner and is passionate about dental health. She loves hiking with her dogs and husband, reading, attending concerts and traveling.

  • Faye Scheff, RDH

    Faye recently moved to Santa Barbara after practicing dental hygiene in the Bay area for over 40 years. She is dedicated to advancing oral health and providing excellent care. She enjoys hiking, skiing and gardening in her free time.

  • Juilette Monkarsh, Dental Assistant

    Juliette was born and raised in Los Angeles, and was a sociology major at UCSB. She is currently attending SBCC studying BioMedical Sciences and plans to become a dental hygienist.

  • In order to provide the highest dental care possible, we are not contracted with any dental plans. However, we work with all PPOs and will submit all documents to the insurance agency on your behalf.

  • Please call the office and we will accommodate you as quickly as possible.

  • We love children but also have a strong referral network if we decide a pediatric dentist would be a better fit.

  • It is our priority to schedule an appointment as quickly as you need.

  • We have strong relationships with excellent local specialists

  • We have an excellent team that has been with us for years but are always open to discussion. We also hire prospective dental student interns from UCSB and SBCC in order for them to gain experience in the field. You may see them periodically during your appointments.
